New “Upgradeable” 5 Litre automatic filling line goes to Greece - 20/12/2001

Universal Filling Machines have recently supplied a 4 headed Posimatic PT5000A automatic filler to Eurochartiki S.A., near Athens.

The customer wished to fill washing up liquid concentrates and other foamy cleaning products into 4 litre plastic “jerry cans” at up to 25 bpm, however being confident of rapidly growing demand, wanted the option to upgrade the line to give 30-35 bpm. The solution was to provide a machine fully equipped to operate and control six 5 litre dispensing pumps, but provide a saving to the customer by only initially fitting four heads. The design, allowing the customer to effortlessly upgrade for greater production, with no engineering work and costly down time. The machine was fitted with an automatic drip tray and sensing to detect if the “jerry cans” were correctly orientation, neck end leading.
