Universal Filling: News

Increased Efficiency at Fisher Research - 18/12/2002

Fisher Research have recently purchased a Posimatic PT5000A for filling their wide range of cleaning products. Chairman, Anthony Fisher said, “We are delighted with the machine. It is already improving our efficiency, meaning that we can cut our costs and the extra capacity generated will now allow us to follow up larger volume business in the near future".

Enfield chemical manufacturers, Fisher Research has just spent £35,000 on a new filling machine. They recently purchased a Universal Filling Machine, Posimatic PT5000A Automatic In-Line Volumetric Filler for use in their North London factory. Fisher Research along with sister company Chela Ltd, who produce cleaning products for the railcare industry, are using the new machine for volumetric filling of a range of polycontainers from 500ml through to 10 litre products. It enables the company to fill products such as Eurowash and Guardisan more efficiently and the run has also been extended to the company’s range of wipes products too. The new system will enable them to fill containers 5 times faster than they currently fill. With the use of a double-headed fully automatic machine, much of the time consuming labour that the single head machine relied upon has been released. Once up to full capacity, the machine will help to halve the amount of time that operatives spent on the filling side of the business, allowing for the company to stimulate real growth. Commenting on the installation of the new machine, Anthony Fisher, Chairman of Fisher Research said, “We are delighted with the machine. It is already improving our efficiency, meaning that we can cut our costs and the extra capacity generated will now allow us to follow up larger volume business in the near future.” Fisher Research Ltd, develop and manufacture cleaning and maintenance materials for a wide range of industries both in the UK and worldwide. They currently invest more than £50,000 a year in developing chemicals and the company is known for it’s innovative approach to research and development.
