NEW FOOD DEPOSITOR - 07/01/2005

Universal are pleased to announce the launch of their new depositing system the Posifill DP. The Posifill DP is specially designed for the food industry, with tool free strip-down for easy cleaning and is capable of filling liquids, pastes and gels containing particles up to 25mm in diameter.

The machine incorporates Universal’s unique rotary valve filling system, which is 100% watertight. This means that unlike some other depositing machines, the Posifill DP can draw many products up from floor level tanks removing the need for hoppers and transfer pumps. Dispensing volumes are 50ml to 1,300ml, with filling speeds up to 60 cycles per minute. All metal contact parts are manufactured in 316 stainless steel and seals are in FDA approved plastics. The machine can be supplied for semi-automatic operation and started by a foot pedal or integrated into a fully automatic system controlled by sensors and/or pneumatic gates.
