UNIVERSAL LAUNCH A NEW BUDGET 5 LITRE FILLING MACHINE - 20/01/2005

Universal are pleased to announce the launch of a new low cost 5 litre filling machine, the PB-5000. Specifically designed to offer exceptional value for money for non food and non pharmaceutical applications, the unit comes in two standard versions – a 316 stainless steel version for general use and a glass/PVC version for filling bleaches and acids.

Both versions come as standard with rotary value head(s), suitable for filling both viscous and free flowing liquids and are available in single and twin headed options. Dispensing volumes are 250ml to 10 litres for a single shot, with larger volumes possible with the use of an additional multi-dose kit. A diving nozzle kit is also available for filling foamy products. Filling speeds are up to 20 cycles per minute and fill accuracy is up to +/- 0.5%. The machine is completely pneumatic in operation and therefore suitable for hazardous environments and wash-down facilities. With a small footprint and portable chassis the machine can be wheeled into position in any production area.
