We manufacture our own filling and capping equipment - all to the very highest quality - ensuring you of superb accuracy, repeatability, reliability and longevity (many of our machines are still in service after more than 20 years of use).

• Filling: Our filling equipment can be used to fill a very wide range of products, from free flowing liquids (e.g. juices and solvents) to semi-liquids (e.g. creams and gels) and products containing particulates (e.g. soups and pickles). We can fill containers as small as 5ml and up to 10 litres, to accuracies of +/- 0.25% and at speeds of up to 120 bottles per minute.
  
  
• Capping: We produce both semi-automatic and fully automatic-capping machines for caps from 2mm - 145mm in diameter, for speeds up to 40 containers per minute. For High speed capping up to 160 containers per minute we supply and install OEM equipment from other world leading manufacturers, always ensuring you of the perfect solution.

Semi-automatic filling	Pneumatically powered (compressed air supply required) Bottles/containers are placed by hand and then operator push button or foot pedal to start fill cycle. Suitable for almost any liquid including viscous liquids containing particles such as foods. 5ml – 5 litre fill range (options for up to 25 litre fills) Typical outputs up to 30 bottles per minute (1800/hour).
Fully automatic filling	Fully automated systems are for high speed applications and include conveyors and electro/pneumatic PLC controls. Suitable for almost any liquid including viscous liquids containing particles such as foods. 5ml – 10 litre fill range Outputs range from 20 - 120 bottles per minute (1200-7200/hour).
Capping and pressing	Universal offer a wide range of manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic systems to suit a wide range of capping applications including: Screw on caps Push on caps ROPP caps Crimping
Volumetric filling	For dosing accurate fill volumes - Suitable for a very wide range of liquid viscosities ranging from free flowing through to thick liquids containing particles such as food products.
Vacuum level filling	For repeatable level filling. Vacuum level filling is suitable for free flowing liquids such as perfumes, wines spirits and oils. Please note - only suitable for filling rigid containers.
Rotary tables	For increased production efficiencies. Two sizes of both in-feed and out-feed tables available.
De-Pucking systems	For significantly improving product change over time and reducing labour costs on hard to handle bottle/containers
Production lines and miscellaneous products	As well as producing our own rotary tables and puck return lines, Universal work closely with other leading suppliers of packaging equipment and can recommend or supply crimping, capping, plugging, labelling and conveyoring systems.
