Net-tex has been developing innovative and technological solutions for nutrition and animal husbandry since 1983, when the business was founded in the UK.

The Challenge:
Replace old machines which were now unreliable and difficult to get spare parts for – to reduce down-time and improve accuracy and quality.
Some liquids being filled are alkaline and are not suitable for filling on machines manufactured in stainless steel.
Machines to be installed over existing conveyor to reduce costs.

The Solution:
Two Posimatic EV 5000 twin head automatic filling machines with PB5000 rear filling chassis, which were supplied with glass and plastic contact parts suitable for filling the alkaline liquids such as bleaches.
The machines were supplied with full diving nozzles for bottom-up filling of foamy liquids and pneumatic shut-off nozzles for drip free filling.
Universal installed both machines onto the existing conveyors which saved about £10,000 from the cost of the project. These machines are running every day and critical to keep production going at Net-tex. Purchasing machinery from a UK supplier is a huge plus where spares and service are critical to keeping the machines running.
