Case Study – Reabrook Limited

Reabrook is a dedicated formulator, manufacturer and contract filler of aerosol and liquid products for private label customers.

Location: Swadlincote, Derbyshire, United Kingdom

The Challenge:

Reabrook Limited is a very successful contract packer which operates in many markets.   With over 40 years of experience in the design and manufacture of aerosol and liquid products, they have become one of the UK’s leading contract manufacturers.

Following a rise in demand for Bleach and Toilet Cleaner, Reabrook contacted Universal in search of a suitable filling machine.

Products to fill:

  • Bleach
  • Toilet Cleaner
  • Various Household Products

The Solution:

Universal recommended the PB5000 twin head semi-automatic volumetric filling machine.  Manufactured with special glass metering cylinders and PVC contact parts, this machine was designed to fill bleach and acid.  The machine is also used to fill a wide range of household and general cleaning products.  Providing excellent repeatability, the PB5000 has simple user friendly operation and comes with its own portable cabinet with braked castors for full mobility.

ATEX Certified, the machine also has the added benefit of being modular in design, so can be automated at a later date.

Available in both single and twin head versions, Universal recommended the twin to cope with increasing demand.

Other alternatives:

Following the successful installation of the PB5000 twin head semi-automatic filling machine at the Swadlincote plant in 2012, two years later Reabrook purchased a 4 head fully automatic filling machine.  In 2015 this was upgraded to a 6 head machine.

The PB5000 was such a successful purchase for our Company that we returned to Universal for an automatic filling machine.  The aftersales service and technical support is excellent and very reassuring.  We have no hesitation in recommending the team at Universal Filling for anybody who is looking for quality British filling machinery.
