A leading producer of tyre repairs and tyre services.

Location: Lisburn, Co Antrim, Northern Ireland

The Challenge:

Tech Europe (EMEA) is a leading producer of tyre repairs and tyre services, manufacturing, marketing and distributing in Europe, Middle-East and Africa.  With expertise in the Tyre Repair, Retreading, Industrial and TPMS sectors, Tech Europe’s products are endorsed by Michelin, Bridgestone, Continental and Goodyear.

Tech Europe contacted Universal in 2014.  They had recently purchased a Chinese capping machine and a Chinese filling machine which had failed miserably.

They were looking for a UK manufacturer who could offer reliable, high quality equipment, with good after-sales service and support.

They wanted to fill and cap a variety of automotive liquids into 250ml to 1000ml containers with metal and plastic caps.

Products to fill:

  • Metal Screw Caps
  • Pre-Buff Rubber Cleaner
  • Paste
  • Oil
  • Security Coatings

The Solution:

Following trials of the customer’s actual liquids and containers, Universal recommended the Universal Hand Capper for the tightening of a variety of metal and plastic pre-threaded screw caps.  We also recommended the Posifill EF semi-automatic volumetric filling machine for filling a wide range of automotive liquids.

Universal supplied the Universal Hand Capper with a Spring Return Counter Balance to relieve the operator from having to move the capping unit into place.  Universal also supplied the versatile Posifill EF liquid filling machine with a rotary dispensing valve head suitable for filling a wide range of automotive liquids.

Other alternatives:

Universal can offer a range of capping machines to meet specific client requirements and applications.

We are now in full production using the equipment Universal manufactured for us. The quality and reliability of the capping machine and filling machine is what we would expect from a proven UK manufacturer.
